August Primary: Sample Ballot & New Protocols
The Primary will take place on Tuesday, August 11, 2020, with polls at the Canosia Town Hall open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Per state rules and guidelines, all voters are required to wear masks, and the number of people allowed in the town hall at one time will be limited so expect some wait time both inside and outside.
Please follow signs for one-way voter traffic. There will be one entrance and one exit, although there will be ADA accommodations. We will be providing a new pen for each voter, and masks will be available for those who do not have one.
The sample ballot can be found here. In Minnesota Primaries, you can only vote for ONE PARTY. However, unlike the Presidential Primary we had in March, all party races are on one ballot and you will NOT have to declare your party to anyone.
If you need to register to vote, please click here for information on what you will to bring with you to the polling place. As always, please feel free to call me, Clerk Susan Krasaway, with any questions (590 6746) . I’m here to help.
Remember, the state of Minnesota provides a user-friendly voter resource website: www.mnvotes.org. Here you can register to vote, request an absentee ballot, see your ballot, find your polling place, and see election results.
