The Canosia Recycling Center will open on Tuesday, May 19 at 5 p.m. The board has opted to wait until the Governor’s Stay at Home order has expired. Please note: new protocols will be in place! 

• Barricades and signs will be set out to establish one way traffic, in and out of the parking lot
• The attendant will direct traffic: only one vehicle will be allowed at the dumpsters at a time!
• The attendant will not be assisting residents with unloading and disposing recycling materials
• Everyone is asked to maintain Social Distancing guidelines (including staying 6 feet from the attendant and others)
• Those recycling are asked to wear a face covering if possible
• Residents are not allowed in the Recycling Shed

As a reminder, the sorting protocols were recently changed: Plastics, aluminum, paper and glass can be mixed together. Only corrugated cardboard and plastic film/bags need to be separated
