The Town of Canosia holds local, federal, and state elections at the Canosia Town Hall at 4896 Midway Road, Duluth MN 55811.
Accessibility: This building is wheelchair accessible from the parking lot door. There are two accessible parking spots next to a wheelchair accessible door and additional off street parking. All voters enter via this door. The exit, which voters use to leave the building has stairs. Therefore, those voting who do not want to use stairs, will leave via the same wheelchair accessible door they entered. All elections will have a brand new OmniBallot machine which can assist voters who need visual or hearing assistance with marking their ballot. We also have at least one accessible voting booth. How to Vote: Voters can vote in person the day of the election by walking into the election hall to vote or by participating in curbside voting. The Town of Canosia Township Election will take place on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 from 12:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Canosia Town Hall. The Public Accuracy Test for the election will be held March 4, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. at the Canosia Town Hall and will test the omniballot. Absentee Voting will be available from February 6, 2026 until March 9, 2026. The Clerk’s office will be open March 7, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. and March 9, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. for absentee voting.
Following the election the town’s Board of Canvass meeting will be held after votes have been tallied. Following this meeting, the town’s Annual Town Hall Meeting will occur. If there is inclement weather, the election and meetings will be moved to the following Tuesday, March 17, 2026. The Canosia Town Hall is located at 4896 Midway Road Duluth MN 55811.
